Fernand Léger Museum Biot

Like many other artists of the 20th century, Fernand Léger wanted a house in Antibes. He bought a property in Biot, north of the town, and his wife transformed it in a museum after his death. It was inaugurated in 1960 with all the artistic celebrities of the time attending, notably Picasso, Chagall and Braque. Today, this is the place to discover Leger’s paintings, drawings and ceramics, most of which are immensely colourful. Here, you can see how the artist explored and modified cubism to create his own style.
