The Picasso Museum is still free this weekend, on the 10th and 11th of February!
It is housed in an impressive castle dating back to the 13th century, the “Château Grimaldi”. In 1946, Picasso had his workshop on the second floor, where he created many paintings and drawings which can be seen in the museum. More works were added to the collection over the years, notably some ceramic pieces made in nearby Vallauris. In addition, other major artists from the 20th century, such as Nicolas de Staël, have some works displayed in the museum.
